080 - The Master of WIN. [VOICE]

[Oh, he sounds so smug. Although this is a public voice entry, it's clear that he's directing his comments to one person. Or a Collective. In this case, it's about the same thing.]

Now, I could order you and your drones to stand down, but that isn't any fun for, ohhh, any of us! So allow me to assign you a new primary objective:

Kill each other.

[About ten minutes after the Master's villainous announcement, there's a mechanical whirring and sputtering sound, a brief screech of feedback, and silence. The Borg no longer have the order to kill, so now they're cut off from the Queen AND without orders. SUCKS TO BE THEM!]

[OOC: Here's the haps: The Nerd Log is going to take way too long to get off the ground, and I'm impatient to get things moving again. So, all of the events in the log will play out backdated, but for now, the plan of action has begun. HERE'S HOW THIS POST WORKS:

As of right now, there is a hypnotic frequency that's hitting the Borg ONLY, and it's likely been broadcasting since the TARDIS landed in the Dining Hall, as it would've needed time to get into the Borgs' heads. Once the Master puts up an edit, he'll cut off the connection with the Queen, but for now, you can assume the Borg may be attacking one another (that's up to Borg players). Other characters can respond to the Master's voice post here, and the Borg can be all "DDDD:" in it, too, if they had anything to say.

Once their connection with the Queen is cut off, it's my understanding that the Borg will be very anguished and traumatized. They won't be back to normal, but they won't be a threat anymore, either.

Now, there's going to be a concurrent log up, for people to get their groups together, go in to fight the Queen/hack the system, help the confused Borg, ETC. Oh, and also: Make the Master undo his own damage.]

...I'm not sure they'll be any easier to reason with than you. Given their single minded drive, we'd probably be caught in unstoppable cross fire. At least you might have some ability to realise this is wrong.
