096 - VOICE OF >(

[Unlike the past few days, the Master sounds quite lucid and calm-- IF ANNOYED-- now. This is mostly because Martha's loaded him up with two days' worth of sustenance from an IV, so he's like... CHILL, until his body burns it up again]

Untie me. Right now. Or at least tell me what you want, because this is getting boring.

Where's the Doctor?

No! [Her tone was sharp and harsh, because she didn't want to have to make small talk with him. She didn't want to have to do anything with him. Carefully, she slipped the bud in one ear, and then in the other ear, making sure not to put her arm anywhere near his mouth. When it was in, she spoke again because he probably wouldn't be able to read the titles, leaving out Harry Potter, out of respect for Snape.] The Historian, A Tale of Two Cities, James and the Giant Peach, The Lovely Bones, Artemis Fowl, Gregory MaGuire's Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister and The Series of Unfortunate Events books. What do you want to listen too?

[True to his word (for once), the Master doesn't make any moves to attack her. After all, he's not nearly hungry enough to have a taste for human, and he wants to be let out of these restraints sooner, rather than 'never.' And, because he's pretty much a giant manchild, his face lights up at one of those books in particular]

James and the Giant Peach. I do love Dahl-- for a human.

Right. James and the Giant Peach, read by Jeremy Irons. [This book may or may not have been one of he favorite flight books. She put the play list on and hit play before she tucked it into his hand. Really, Martha hoped that she wasn't going to have to give him an ipod lesson; she didn't have the patience.]

Mm, he has such a nice voice. [As usual, his own voice is anything but sincere. Fingers clasping around the iPod, he waves Martha off with a dismissive gesture.]

[Martha just rolled her eyes before she walked away, thankful that the book ran for something like almost three hours. At least he hopefully would shut up for that long. And, she decided, if he wrecked her ipod, she might just kill him.]
