073 - THE MASTER? GLOATING? SHOCKING.
Aug. 27th, 2009 12:23 am[Filtered away from the real Doctors AND SAM LOL because I don't want to self thread]
Citizens of the Barge:
Let's play a game, courtesy of the Professor.
Now, any of you familiar with film, television, the printed word, the spoken word-- any means of storytelling, really-- know that there is one consistency in nearly every tale of 'good triumphs over all': the antagonist brings about his own defeat. Oh, he'll possess his unique strengths-- typically, he is simply superior to the protagonist, in intellect, skill, poise, etcetera. But he will always possess that One. Fatal. Flaw. Vanity, hubris, a dreadfully short temper, a penchant for colourful speeches of world domination, what have you. I'm sure our Inmate populace knows all too well what I'm talking about here. It is how the great fall to the good.
We all possess that flaw here.
For example, my old enemies know that I have a little thing for wordplay. Ohhh what can I say? I simply can't resist letting my true name leak into my alter egos. And that is why, citizens, the game for the day is-- Drumroll, please!
Anagrams.
I'll start.
Sam Tyler.
[OOC: Follows the conclusion of this thread! The icon is the 'Tenth Doctor' disguise he used to fool Ace into letting him into the TARDIS. Now, he's bragging.
ALSO. KATES. The Master stole some stuff for a future plot-- as was approved already-- but whatever he took wouldn't impair the TARDIS's functions. However, he probably did mess around with things to be a dick, but whatever he messed with would be reversible, so I'll leave it up to you what he actually did]
